From architectural to abstract, whimsical to realistic, Ames artist Gina Swartz captures the Sense of Home Midwesterners feel through a diverse collection of paintings, drawings, collages, digital works and more.
Meet the artist during the artist reception from 5 to 8 PM on Friday, August 7 with live music from Lucy Lu & the Nobodies, cash bar and artful charcuterie available.
Both the reception and the month-long show are free and open to the public.

The Art Center is open Tuesday -- Saturday at 10 AM; closing times vary. The Gallery Lounge at the Art Center offers lives music, wine/beer, charcuterie and an inspiring atmosphere surrounded by artwork every first and third Friday from 5 to 8 PM.
