If you're a woman over 18 looking for outdoor adventures, the Des Moines County Conservation Ladies Adventure Group might be the perfect place to jump in!
Join the group for a night of fire and flavor at Starr’s Cave Nature Center and learn the art of fire building, then join a smaller group to practice starting fires using traditional flint and steel techniques.
Once you've sparked your own flame, the group will come together to make s’mores and cook up delicious pie iron pizzas over the fire.
It’s the perfect mix of learning, laughter, and tasty campfire treats!
Cost: $10 per person — pre-registration required. All equipment is provided. Limited to 20 ladies — register early to reserve your spot!
