Iowa filmmaker Jeremy Glazier will be on hand to discuss the film inspired by his own father’s service during the Vietnam Era, which screens free at the Capitol on Veterans Day.
Glazier is still looking for Vietnam-era stories from Iowa vets, both combat and non-combat, for the next step in this project – a book about Iowa’s Vietnam-era veterans - and Vietnam-era vets are encouraged to bring their own stories of service, whether stateside or in-country.
