Adults and kids age 11 & up can take this comprehensive hunter education course which includes firearm and archery safety, basic survival and first aid skills, water safety, wildlife identification, hunting law and more. The course is required to obtain a hunting license in Iowa; 11-year-olds will receive a certificate which becomes valid on their 12th birthday.
