Iowa artist Robin Fisher brings those dreams to life in her June gallery show at the Art Center of Burlington. Simple Pleasures, Quiet Places is on display through June 28.

Meet the artist at the opening reception from 5 to 8 PM Friday, June 2, in the Gallery Lounge, featuring live music, cash bar with beer and wine, charcuterie and conversation. Both the month-long show and the artist reception are free and open to the public.

The Art Center is open Tuesday -- Saturday at 10 AM; closing times vary. The Gallery Lounge at the Art Center offers lives music, wine/beer, charcuterie and an inspiring atmosphere surrounded by artwork every first and third Friday from 5 to 8 PM.
