The Government Relations Committee will host a Primary Candidate Forum on Thursday, May 14 at 4:30 p.m. at the Senior Center on Jefferson Street, in conjunction with the Jefferson Street Farmer’s Market. This soapbox-style forum will feature candidates for Des Moines County Attorney, Des Moines County Supervisor, and Iowa House District 99, offering attendees the opportunity to hear directly from those running for office.
Schedule: County Attorney Candidates (4:30–5:00 p.m.); Meet & Greet (5:00–5:30 p.m.); Des Moines County Supervisor Candidates (5:30–6:00 p.m.); Iowa House District 99 Candidates (6:00–6:30 p.m.).
