Symphonic Blast

Description

Wind up the Fourth of July holiday with one of the area's largest and most visually stunning fireworks displays - not to mention the patriotic music of the Southeast Iowa Symphony Orchestra, performing live on the outdoor stage at Crapo Park.

Bring a picnic dinner, cold beverages, lawn chairs - don't forget the bug spray! - and enjoy this exuberant professional performance showcasing American composers like John Williams and John Phillip Sousa and featuring music from The Magnificent Seven, Jurassic Park and more. 

Be sure to stay for the grand finale - a fantastic fireworks display set to Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture.
