You'll be working with a petroleum company with an emphasis on lubricants, expanding its reach and building relationships with businesses across the industry nationwide.
Role Overview
We're seeking a professional outbound call specialist to lead customer outreach initiatives. You'll reach out to businesses and play a key role in supporting brand expansion and building high-value customer relationships. You'll report directly to management.

Responsibilities
- Place Outbound Calls: Call companies from a provided database, confirming and verifying up-to-date information, introduce the company's brand/services and soft sell to secure follow-up conversations with leadership.
- Navigate Gatekeepers: Work professionally with receptionists and front-desk staff to reach the right decision-maker.
- Research Contacts: Use company websites and online databases to find and verify contact information.
- Gather and Record Information: Collect decision-maker contact details and document call outcomes and customer feedback in the CRM.
- Manage Your Day: Structure your day around time zones, using early hours to build and research call lists while other time-zone contacts are still offline, then shifting to calls as each region's business day begins. Plan around lunch hours to reach contacts when they're available.
- Follow Up: Track unanswered calls and schedule callbacks.
- Follow Standards: Adhere to call scripts and internal quality standards.
- Collaborate: Work with supervisors and internal teams to relay feedback and next steps, including potential in-person meetings when new initiatives are introduced.

- Excellent time management, with the ability to plan your own day and prioritize tasks across multiple time zones.

- Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets.
- U.S.-based and available during normal business hours.
- Quiet workspace, reliable internet.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding company, customer, and contact information; a confidentiality agreement may be required.
- Able to attend Zoom meetings and potential in-person meetings in West Burlington, IA.
