Starting pay of $29.25 ($.45 shift differential for nights)

$3,000 sign on bonus

Progression increase every 6 months, and will continue up to 2 years.

Company gives annual increases the 1st of every year at their discretion.

Essential Job Functions:

Installs, repairs, modifies, and performs preventative maintenance, etc. on all electrical units, controls, components, and related wiring in a manufacturing environment.

Perform work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical and electronic theory and principles.

Understanding of wiring diagrams, drawings, specifications, and instructions covering scheduled and emergency repairs, installations, and inspections.

Maintains inventory of electrical parts and motors, advising management of purchasing requirements.

Moves and installs existing or new equipment and facilities.

Adhere to all safety regulations, guidelines, JSA's, policies, procedures, and/or directives.  Employ safe work habits at all times.  Report any hazards to supervision without delay.  Exercise proper care and protection of company property.

Operate mobile equipment, including forklift trucks, lifts, and booms to assist with all production work.

Maintains work area in a clean and orderly fashion.

Occasional production work as required to cover breaks, lunches, vacations and absenteeism.

Perform other duties as directed by supervision.

Job Requirements

Must be knowledgeable of Allen Bradley systems, VFD's, PLC's hardware and software, AC/DC circuits, 4-20 mA circuits and 440 MCC's.

Ability to write code and demonstrate a working knowledge of RS Logic.

Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and drawings, handbooks, specifications, equipment manuals, parts lists and other written material as associated with the position.

Skilled in the use of hand and power tools, electrical test equipment and related tools and instruments necessary to perform the job.

Has or will provide own hand tools associated with the job.

Must have good trouble shooting skills, ability to diagnose and complete repairs in emergency situations.

Must be able to take direction as well as be self-motivated and work alone.
