Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in fabricating and welding various metal components. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work with precision tools and equipment.
Duties
- Fabricate and weld metal components according to engineering drawings and specifications
- Measure and inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision tools
- Work with sheet metal, soldering, plasma cutting, and machining equipment
- Assemble fabricated parts into finished products
- Operate cranes for material handling
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues
Requirements
- Proven experience in fabricating and welding metal components
- Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools
- Knowledge of sheet metal work, soldering techniques, plasma cutting, and machining processes
- Ability to assemble parts accurately and efficiently
- Experience operating cranes for material handling is a plus
- Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and problem-solving
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour commiserate with experience
Expected hours: 40 per week
