Traces Boutique is a sustainable women’s clothing, accessory, and upscale resale boutique located in the heart of downtown Burlington. We are passionate about style, sustainability, and community. Our mission is to provide a thoughtfully curated shopping experience while supporting conscious fashion choices.
Position Overview
We are looking for a friendly, motivated, and fashion-forward individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, boutique or retail experience, and an enthusiasm for sustainability and community involvement. This role also includes assisting with social media content creation and engagement to help share the Traces Boutique story. Position schedule would include Wednesday - Friday 10am - 5pm and occasional Saturdays.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide exceptional customer service and personalized styling assistance.
• Assist with day-to-day boutique operations including sales, merchandising, and inventory.
• Create and share engaging content for social media platforms to promote products, events, and the boutique’s mission.
• Support and represent Traces Boutique as an active member of the downtown Burlington community.
• Maintain a welcoming, organized, and inspiring boutique environment.
Qualifications
• Previous boutique, retail, or fashion-related experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.).
• Interest in sustainable fashion and community-focused business.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
